BOOK NOTES: Two More Shelly Reuben Novels Now Available in Digital Form

Good news for fans of novelist Shelly Reuben: Two of her early novels — “Origin and Cause” and “Spent Matches” — are now available in digital form. They were originally published in 1996 and are out of print. I recommend both novels without reservation. Shelly is the queen of arson procedurals: No surprise, because in addition to being a skilled writer, she is a licensed arson investigator.

Here’s what Shelly emailed me:

“Slowly by slowly, I make progress. Two more books are now up and for sale on-line as digital books.Origin and Cause and Spent Matches. They go back to before we met (which started with Tabula Rasa), so I don’t know if you’ve ever read them.

They are on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and a bunch of other places (Reader Store, Kobo, Copia, Apple iBookstore, etc.) that I never heard of before I got busy doing this.”
